One Thousand and One Handbags is a pop up book collaboration between best selling author and paper engineer David A. Carter and acclaimed Dutch shoe and handbag designer Hester van Eeghen.
The expressive shapes and lively colors of Hester’s designs take new life in this exclusive pop up book that follows Hester’s journey through life as a handbag and shoe designer in 8 gorgeous pop up spreads engineered and illustrated by David A. Carter.
The book was created to celebrate Hester’s 30 year anniversary exhibition at the Tassen Museum of Bags and Purses in Amsterdam.
The standard edition of One Thousand and One Handbags is limited to 800 copies.
